On The Day

I will be your DJ on the day.

Often you'll book a DJ on the strength of his reputation, and on your big day you find that you've been sent a stand-in DJ.

I can guarantee that won't happen to you!

Here's an example of what may happen on the day and how your DJ may be involved.

8.30  First Dance and PARTY! DJ Tom.
12am  Book physio appointment because we danced so much!

Well, maybe the guys will get up earlier than 1.30 pm!
Oh, and you may wait until Monday to ring your physio!

Most DJs do set up in the afternoon - around 5pm so they only have one trip - so think about how that may impact on your guests.

Also, there are DJs that don't start until 8pm. It's my experience that during dinner and speeches a DJ is needed as much as any other part of the day! Imagine no music during dinner or worse, music played from a home stereo.

Also, speeches need to be heard. Ask your venue if they think you need a microphone.
From your First Dance however, you have only one choice -

On the mouse:wedding@djtom.co.nz
At the house:(04) 972 1737
On the run:(027) 238 2227

A good DJ will put his personality into your day; a great DJ will put YOUR personality into your day.
